Merci Paris: Where to Find Unique Souvenirs in the Marais

If you’re looking for unique souvenirs from Paris that feel a little more special than the typical Eiffel Tower keychains and tourist shop finds, add Merci Paris to your list.
Located in the Marais, Merci is one of my favorite places to go when I want to find something fun and a little different to bring home from Paris. The original Merci store is located at 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais in the 3rd arrondissement and is easy to add to a day exploring the Marais.
Why Visit Merci in Paris?
Merci is more than just a souvenir shop. It’s a Paris concept store filled with fashion, home decor, stationery, accessories, linens and all kinds of beautifully designed everyday pieces. The historic Boulevard Beaumarchais location takes up several floors of a 19th-century building, so there’s plenty to wander through and discover.
And of course, you’ll want to look for the iconic little red Fiat 500 in the courtyard when you arrive!
What I love most about Merci is that you can find souvenirs that you’ll actually want to use when you get home.
What to Buy at Merci Paris

The selection changes, which is part of the fun, but some of the things I always recommend looking for include:
- Merci tote bags (this is a must!)
- Hats with the famous Non Merci logo
- Notebooks, pens and stationery
- Small accessories like keychains and magnets
- Home decor and kitchen pieces with a French theme
- Clothing and accessories
- Small gifts that are easy to pack in your suitcase
- Lots of cute items for the kids
Where Is Merci in Paris?
The original Merci store is located at:
Merci
111 Boulevard Beaumarchais
75003 Paris
The closest Metro station is Saint-Sébastien–Froissart on Line 8, and Oberkampf on Line 5 is also nearby.
I would plan to stop here while you’re already exploring the Marais. It’s an easy little shopping stop and such a fun place to wander through, even if you aren’t looking for anything specific.
We stopped at Merci after lunch at Chez Janou, which is just a short walk away. If you’re planning to visit, check out my recent post, Chez Janou Paris: What to Know Before You Go for everything you need to know, including that famous chocolate mousse you’ve seen all over your Instagram feed.
Merci Has a Second Paris Location
Merci now also has a second Paris location at 19 Rue de Richelieu in the 1st arrondissement, close to the Palais Royal and Louvre.
If you’re already spending the day in that area, this location may be more convenient. But the 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais store in the Marais is the original Merci location and the one featured in this post.
If it’s your first time visiting Merci, I’d choose the Marais location for the full experience.
Happy Shopping!
